AOWA envisions a world in which Afghan women and girls enjoy peace, justice, equality, and the freedoms to participate in all spheres of life and live without fear. It offers quality services to eliminate poverty, strengthen civil society, promote human rights through providing sustainable livelihoods to poor and marginalized women, civil society organizations’ capacity building and networking, peace building and conflict resolution, promote rule of Law and good governance, and implementing human rights awareness and responsiveness enhancement initiatives. It advocates with and on behalf of Afghan women for social change to ensure that national development efforts are both equitable and sustainable.
