The NGO Women, Actions, and Development (FAD) is an initiative of women who have decided to pool their knowledge and experiences in order to actively participate in the defense, protection, and empowerment of women and girls. This beneficial initiative is based on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. This fight is far from over due to the underrepresentation of women in decision-making bodies and the resistance that men and political parties show in honoring their commitments to make institutions more accessible to women. The NGO FAD is therefore a manifestation of the members’ desire to contribute to the genuine development of women in social, cultural, economic, and political sectors, despite the adversities.

Social media has become highly significant in today’s world, playing an essential role in various aspects of social, professional, and cultural life. These platforms allow individuals to easily connect with friends, family, and colleagues from anywhere in the world. Additionally, many businesses use social media for advertising and attracting customers, and these platforms serve as an effective tool for promoting products and services. Furthermore, social media acts as a rapid channel for spreading news and information, with many events and crises being quickly shared with the public through these platforms. Overall, social media has a significant impact on both personal and social life due to its ability to create widespread connections, facilitate fast information exchange, and offer business opportunities.
The CEFAN derives its essence from the combined will of the Cameroonian government, national and international civil society organizations in education, following recommendations from both international and national communities. The forum recommended that civil society organizations mobilize at all levels (national, regional, and global) in networks to effectively monitor the commitments made by states and governments. This recommendation was observed in Cameroon, leading to the establishment of CEFAN on October 21, 2005.
