AidTrends applies Sustainable Livelihoods approaches that provides a framework for addressing poverty and vulnerability in both development and humanitarian contexts. They have emerged from the growing realization of the need to put the poor and all aspects of their lives and means of living at the center of development and humanitarian work, while maintaining the sustainability of natural resources for present and future generations.

Organisation Non Gouvernementale IWENE

The IWENE – Association for Research and Community Development, is a non-profit organization founded in April 2003 in Bamako, Mali. Registered in 2004 under Framework Agreement No. 0599/001694, IWENE aims to support the self-development of the most disadvantaged communities through professional and quality assistance. Located in Commune V – Baco-Djicoroni ACI-Golf, the organization is committed to enhancing the lives of vulnerable populations.
Compassion Farms Africa is a non-profit empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities through sustainable agriculture, education, health, and advocacy. We integrate farming with social initiatives, combat gender-based violence, and foster engagement, creating a fair, sustainable environment, rooted in the belief that everyone—regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or gender—deserves love, care, and compassion.
PRAYAS, is a social development organization working in underdeveloped regions of West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand in India over 37 years to create positive and enduring change in lives of communities living in abject poverty and undue inequality. Founded in 1988, PRAYAS has grown into regional level agency with operations in three states. The core of the program implementation lies in community action and empowerment of powerless.
The Yemen Center for Human Rights was established on April 20, 2004, in Aden Governorate. It is a non-governmental, non-profit organization officially registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor under license number (682-579). The center holds an independent legal personality and engages in various research, scientific, cultural, and humanitarian activities. It has extensive experience implementing projects in cooperation with international organizations in vital areas, including Human Rights, Peace building, Good Governance and Anti-Corruption, Sustainable Development, Democracy and the Rule of Law, Transitional Justice, Economic and Political Empowerment of Women and Youth.
Organization for Community Development (OCD) is a benevolent, non-governmental registered organization, promoting integral development and sustainable peace. OCD works for the holistic development of marginalized segment of the society without any discrimination of caste, creed, race, gender, religion and ethnicity. Our initiatives involve and engage neglected, marginalized and downtrodden grassroots communities prone to risk. We work towards socio economic uplift of women, children, youth, minorities, farmers and other groups with special needs, living in poverty and social exclusion. The main thrust of the organization is to facilitate communities to take collective developmental actions for social transformation. As a community-based organization, we are determined to work for poverty alleviation by sensitizing and organizing communities to mobilize resources for common actions to empower them by providing opportunities for dignified lifestyle.

Afghan Women Canadian Initiative Foundation

The Afghan Women Canadian Initiative Foundation (AWCIF) is a federally registered non-profit organization dedicated to supporting newcomer and immigrant women in Canada. Founded by Habiba Mirzad, a women’s rights activist and advocate, AWCIF focuses on education, empowerment, and awareness to help women build self-sufficiency, develop leadership skills, and integrate successfully into their communities.

Action jeunesse et développement à la base

We work to give a chance to the ambitions of youth, as the dreams of young people are often hindered by certain parents who are not attentive to their children’s needs. We also strive to take into account the natural abilities of each child in order to give them a chance to develop their talents. We provide economic development opportunities to vulnerable families through income-generating activities. Since 2019 to date, we have supported more than 200 students with comprehensive or partial assistance in their education. The vast majority benefited from the project to combat child marriage through our partnership with the Girls First Fund and other goodwill partners. Our support has allowed many youths to access employment and has also inspired their siblings in their determination.
The Yemeni NGOs Coalition for Child Rights Care (YNGOC), founded in 1995, is Yemen’s first NGO coalition focused on children’s rights. Comprising 45 civil society organizations, it advocates for children’s welfare across Yemen, uniting efforts to uphold the Convention on the Rights of the Child and ensuring every child’s right to life.
ACP is a local NGO whose vision is to change the world by providing active support to individuals in the most vulnerable situations. It focuses on promoting inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all, as well as combating gender-based violence (GBV) and HIV/AIDS.

Al-Eimman Development Organization

Al-Eimman Development Organization AEDO is non Political, Non Religious, and Non Profit making non Governmental which came in to existence in year 2002 by the committed dedicated team of social workers, Volunteers Youth activists, will wishers and like minded friends. It got Registration in year 2006. Al-Eimman Development Organization AEDO is Duty registered under Social Welfare Agencies(Registration & Control)Ordinance by the Provincial social Department the purpose it Foundation is to improve socio-economic condition of the society by adopting multidisciplinary approaches and community based development Initiative and Intervention in key sectors of Education, Health, Safe Drinking Water & Sanitation and Environmental protection, Disability, etc encircling D.G.Khan District.
The Initiatives for the Protection of Women’s Rights (IPDF) is a feminist association based in Fez, Morocco. We promote inclusive education, gender equality, and the protection of women and girls from all forms of violence. Through advocacy, training, and community mobilization, we empower women and transform discriminatory social norms.
Humanitarian Assistance and Empowerment Organization (HAEO) established in 2008 with the concept of volunteerism and conducted several activities for the vulnerable and deprived people in the community, initially focused activities over the education and empowerment of girls and women and did a lot in this regard in the eastern zone of Afghanistan with the support of volunteer member and people in the local communities. For building the capacity of women, HAEO also conducted several computer and English programs and courses so that they become useful part of the community and could effectively play role in the rehabilitation and development of their war affected country.
