Rural Development Organization (RDO) is a nongovernmental organization registered under voluntary social welfare Act 1961 (Reg. #. KPK/DSW-2627). The organization since its establishment in 2001, work for the “Establishment of prosperous society based in the principles of social justice equity & equality”. This aim is achieved with the close collaboration of partner communities and development organizations through a participatory, demand responsive, gender and poverty sensitive integrated development approach in KPK. Savana Signatures has a vision of a society where all have access to tools that improve their livelihoods and quality of life and a mission to initiate positive change among youth, women and vulnerable populations of Ghana using innovative solutions to facilitate access to Reproductive Health and Rights (Including Maternal and Child Health), Quality Education and Skills Development.
SHAKHI is a young women-led grassroots feminist organization working in the Terai/Madhesh region of Nepal, particularly in Bara district, to empower marginalized women, girls, and children. Through education, leadership development, and advocacy, SHAKHI strives to eliminate gender-based discrimination and promote social inclusion, ensuring a just and equitable society.

A dedicated advocate for women and children, Shakiba is also a member of PenPath, a charity organization focused on advocating for and supporting girls’ education in Afghanistan. She has led initiatives aimed at empowering marginalized communities, improving educational access, and fostering social services. Her experiences in international development and advocacy fueled her interest in homeland security, with a focus on disaster management, emergency preparedness, and creating resilient communities. Currently, Shakiba serves as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions for GW’s Graduate School of Political Management. Her leadership, commitment to education, and global perspective uniquely position her to contribute meaningfully to public safety and global security.
